Old B 56 remote control unit, designed for workboats, was not being manufactured since 1988.

The fine original molds, originated by function, required only few adjustments: the most outstanding one was the substitution of original old-fashioned handles with two Bakelite balls.

Modern plates with easy indications and a differentiation in chromatic patterns helped the sale success of this fine remote control, proudly again in the catalog.

Restyling

Restyling is not design: it is the update of an existing design for new aesthetic or functional requirements; sometimes it requires a small amount of work, if the starting design is a good one.
A massive restyling is hardly ever preferable to a new design.
But in this case...
