This concept design was to investigate the feasibility of a die-cast plastics body for a portable welding machine, in an attempt to reduce costs as compared to the traditional metal body's. The results were encouraging, and the TEC.LA. Technical department developed the design along the traced route. The illustration features one of the proposed versions, and was produced after a thorough basic design of the whole body. |
