Perspective.
The huge heath exchanger in the illustration was designed by Navalimpianti for CIRA plasma wind tunnel facility.
The perspective outlines its main features under a moderate wide-angle field of view.
Limits
Qualified perspective treatises consider a field of view about 30° wide as a limit to obtain an undeformed two-points perspective.
Well aware of the use of wide-angle lenses in photography, I began to widen FOV beyond its usual limits to enhance perspective effect.
Illustration above features a 45° FOV, as well as a moderate wide-angle lens.
